Welcome to Year In Chat, a service provided by Sovereign Nomad Ventures LLC. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Year In Chat provides an analysis service for your personal ChatGPT data exports. Users upload their `conversations.json` file, and our system processes this data to generate a personalized report containing insights, themes, and statistics about their chat history.

We prioritize your privacy. Our service operates under a strict "Privacy First" policy:

• We do not train any AI models on your data.
• Your data is analyzed solely for the purpose of generating your report.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal chat data with third parties.
• To facilitate analysis, data is processed by third-party AI providers (currently including Google Gemini and xAI Grok) and routed through our observability infrastructure (Helicone). We have configured these services to ensure your data is transient and not used for model training. The specific AI models and providers are subject to change without public disclosure as we upgrade to newer technologies.
• While we employ industry-standard security measures, you acknowledge that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Right of Withdrawal: You have the statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Exception for Digital Content: However, by uploading your data and clicking "Pay" to initiate the analysis, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the analysis has begun.

Resolution: If you are not satisfied with the quality of the analysis or believe there was a technical error, please contact us at [email protected]. As our Merchant of Record, Paddle handles all formal refund requests and chargebacks.

You are responsible for ensuring that the data you upload belongs to you. You agree not to upload data that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Year In Chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Terms and Conditions.
